Big ward meeting with social worker, OT, physio, resident and registrar yesterday to sort out the state of play. Very cautious questions re had we noticed any deterioration in mental status in the recent past. When we said cheerfully that things appeared to have returned to normal, relatively speaking, there were sighs of reliefr. They thought that there had been as major mental disaster.
Home on Saturday. We now have a new wheely walker - the physio thought that walking was very unstable - couldn't believe that this was normal for her.
The social worker and OT thought htat home help for showering was the way to go and have arranged this.
Nothing can now be arranged for Nationals in July, or possibly South Africa in October until we see how she is when she gets home.

Doesn't sound like a helluva lot of fun.... Must be a little of a positive thing for you though with the recognition of the "experts" of what you're dealing with and the recommendation for assistance.... I wonder though if she's going to remember who it is that's come to help her when they come.... and if she'll let them.....

Love You!
