Been home a week now, no idea why she is on antibiotics and asks every time what the extra tabs are.

State championships went reasonably well. Apart from the fact that the caoch failed to remove the beat board after the mount, so when my athlete was over balanced forward on the start of her hiccough between bars, instead of standing up to high bar and incurring a composition deduction, she reversed her hands and went for a forward sole circle to get back into a kip cast feet on - she slammed her heels into the front edge of the beat board. Now she still cannot walk. Nothing broken but very severe bruising. I am hoping she will be able to train again after Australian Championships next week.

Phone message from Tikin yesterday. Says we don't email or post. This is a severe case of the pot calling the kettle black!!!

Himself is running the MAG State championships this morning and has arranged for enough roses to give all the boys one for their mothers after the comp.

Oomah came home from hospital today, very tottery, I don't think that she will be able to use the wheely walker but we shall see in a week or two. She still has a cough but it is nowhere near as bad as it was. (she doesn't remember that she has been in hospital now).
I think that she spent most of the day curled up on the lounge in the family room in the sun. Probably with the dog and/or cat up beside her.
Also first day of senior state championships. Second day tomorrow. Went very smoothly.
The crabapple is still alive and looking good. Can't wait for spring.

Big ward meeting with social worker, OT, physio, resident and registrar yesterday to sort out the state of play. Very cautious questions re had we noticed any deterioration in mental status in the recent past. When we said cheerfully that things appeared to have returned to normal, relatively speaking, there were sighs of reliefr. They thought that there had been as major mental disaster.
Home on Saturday. We now have a new wheely walker - the physio thought that walking was very unstable - couldn't believe that this was normal for her.
The social worker and OT thought htat home help for showering was the way to go and have arranged this.
Nothing can now be arranged for Nationals in July, or possibly South Africa in October until we see how she is when she gets home.
