SHE has come back from 2/52 up north. Wasn't really sure where she had been and what anyone there had been doing. Told us that one of the dogs had had to be put down (our dog, happened about 6/12 ago).
Finally found out what the funny smell in her room was - turpentine had been put into a plastic container and it had dissolved the container - slumped in a plastic blob on the shelf.
